FSA Education With Rebecca Sunday Digest
June 9th 2024: Links to all of the key posts you may have missed and tips for how to navigate our Community Substack site
Welcome to our weekly newsletter digest from the Family Scapegoating Education (FSA) Substack site! This digest provides easy access to Posts I’ve published over the past few days and will also link you to current Chats or Discussion Threads with a lot of activity.
As a reminder, all subscribers have access to my public articles and archives. Paid subscribers also have access to Community features like Group Chat.
In this first edition of our FSA Education Community Newsletter digest, I’m thrilled to give you the opportunity to catch a post you may have missed that may be helpful to you as you learn to navigate our Substack site or that speaks to you regarding an FSA-related phenomenon you may have experienced.
It is my hope that as my Substack site grows, you’ll carve out some time to delve into thought-provoking articles, expert analyses, and community reflections as we navigate the complexities of familial relationships and dynamics.
Whether you're seeking validation, support, or practical strategies, my FSA Education Substack site aims to empower and educate individuals impacted by family scapegoating dynamics and systemic abuse.
Toward that end, let's explore FSA and recovery together and foster a supportive community dedicated to healing and growth.
New to Substack and Having Trouble Finding Your Way Around?
If you (like me) have been having a bit of trouble figuring out how to find the home page of my Substack site when you’re using the mobile phone Substack app (versus entering familyscapegoathealing.substack (dot com) in order to access content and community features like Group Chat), I wrote a brief set of instructions that should set you on the right path, which you can access in the digest, below.
I’m also going to put together a detailed ‘How to Get Around Substack’ Post, which I’ll get out to you once its ready, and rest assured that I’ll be suggesting to Substack customer support that they themselves put some type of guide together for end users now that they have added all of these wonderful new community features like Discussion Threads and live Group Chats.
Speaking of conversations: If you’re a paid subscriber, please consider taking a moment to introduce yourself to other FSA adult survivors in our community Group Chat area. The button below will take you right there.
And do be sure to check out the comment sections of all my posts here; despite how new this site is, we already have a few interesting conversations going on.
If you are reading this on the mobile phone Substack app, click the button below and look at the bottom of your screen. You’ll see ‘Already have the app? Open now’. Click on ‘Open now’ to enter the Chat.
Here’s the key posts from this past week:
Paid Subscriber Survey: Please take a few minutes when time to complete this survey so that I can adjust my offerings here to best serve the community’s needs. (If after clicking on the red ‘Take the Survey’ button the app takes you to a list of my posts, scroll down until you see the ‘Paid Subscriber Survey’ post and open that to take the survey.)
Article: Overcoming Social Isolation as an FSA Adult Survivor
Community Feature (paid subscribers): Join my New Subscriber Chat
Paid Subscribers ‘Ask the Community’ feature: (this ensures comments are hidden from search engine results): Let’s Share Our Experience, Strength and Hope With Each Other
Video: Ending Contact With Family: About the Emotional Aftermath
Article: Understanding Malignant Narcissism and its Effects on FSA Adult Survivors
FSA Recovery Affirmation: Reclaiming Your Personal Narrative
As we conclude this week's newsletter, I encourage you to explore the diverse perspectives and resources shared on the FSA Education Substack site. Remember, you're not alone on this journey. I also hope you will take the risk to reach out to our community of FSA adult survivors and share your FSA and recovery experiences as we continue to learn and grow together.
Stay tuned for next week's digest, where we'll continue to uncover insights, share stories, and support one another in navigating the complexities of family dynamics. Until then, take care and remember: Healing from the effects of FSA IS possible.
