Before I get to this week’s topic, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! As our community continues to grow and deepen its understanding of Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA), I feel it's important that our name truly reflects our mission and focus. Therefore, I'm delighted to announce that my Substack publication, Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) Education, will now be known as Healing the Scapegoat Wound: FSA Education Support Community.
This change reflects our core purpose: To provide education, foster understanding, and offer a supportive space for adult survivors navigating the profound impact of FSA. The term "healing the scapegoat wound" encapsulates the journey we are all on – a path of reclaiming our true-self nature and integrating the painful experiences of being cast in the ‘family scapegoat’ role.
