Affirmations can be a powerful tool for adult survivors of Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) as they navigate their healing journey. The consistent and deliberate practice of repeating positive statements can help to rewire negative thought patterns ingrained by years of psycho-emotional abuse. This in turn can lead to increased self-worth, emotional regulation, healthier patterns of thought, and a stronger sense of self.
