This Week's FSA Recovery Affirmation
Uncovering and processing anger stemming from scapegoating injustices...
Anger serves many purposes. For example, anger can alert us to when our boundaries are being violated. Anger can also arise when something happening to us (or others) is experienced as being dehumanizing, objectifying, unjust, or unfair.
This coming week I’ll be focusing on feeling and processing anger and what I call ‘righteous rage’ in regard to scapegoating injustices. This topic was inspired by some conversations occurring among our paid subscribers here who were concerned they were either not feeling appropriate anger, or were stuck in the anger, as related to their family scapegoating abuse (FSA) experiences.
I’ll be getting a dedicated article out to all subscribers on this same topic later this week. Paid subscribers will be able to join in on a Chat Group thread for more private discussions on feeling and processing anger and ‘righteous rage’.
How might this affirmation help you this week in your recovery from FSA? Feel free to let me know in the comments! (By the way, several subscribers have shared with me that they make these weekly affirmations their mobile phone’s ‘wallpaper’ for the week so they have a regular reminder, which they find very helpful - something you might try…)
