Substack Navigation Tips; Searching on the FSA Education Site; Recovery Books
This week's Sunday Digest addresses important navigation issues for both free and paid subscribers...
Welcome to the Sunday Digest: Your Weekly FSA Education Update…
Hello, FSA Education Community!
This week’s Sunday Digest is designed to help you navigate the wealth of information offered on the FSA Education Substack with greater ease and efficiency.
Substack is only recently cultivating authors who are also content creators, and they are still upgrading features based on feedback from people like me who are seeking the best user experience possible for both free and paid subscribers.
One issue I’ve already mentioned to them is that the full navigation menu showing the free and paid subscriber features I offer is not visible on the Substack mobile app. Hopefully this will soon be addressed, but in the meantime, I’ve included some important navigation and search tips for when you visit my Substack from a browser or mobile app, below.
In addition to a couple of other tips and announcements, I’m also including my FSA Survivor resource page (with links) at the bottom of this post. When you visit my Substack from a browser, you can find additional resources listed on the lower right side of your screen.
Warmly,
Rebecca C. Mandeville, LMFT, CCTP
Substack Navigation Tips
Searching the FSA Education Substack: Did you know you can search the FSA Education Substack to find topics that interest you from a browser or the mobile app ?
When visiting my Substack from a browser: You’ll need to log into Substack first before visiting the FSA Education Substack or you’ll be asked to subscribe even though you are already subscribed (confusing, I know, and I already asked Substack tech support to change this).
Use this link to sign in to Substack, then visit the home page of my Substack to see the navigation menu with free and paid subscriber features at the top of the page (all the links are listed on this access page here, in case you missed my post on this earlier in the week).
Once you’re on the home page of my Substack, use the magnifying glass icon to the upper right of your screen to conduct your search. You can search on words like ‘worksheet’ or ‘ending contact’, for example, to pull up past content from the archives, based on what page of my Substack you are visiting (sometimes you’ll see two magnifying glass icons - use the lower one when searching my site in these instances).
If you’re using the Substack mobile app, click on your profile picture, then on the Family Scapegoating Abuse Education Substack icon to get to my home page where you can see the magnifying glass search icon at the top right of the screen.
Listening to Posts Versus Reading Them:
Did you know… When you’re on the Substack mobile app and open up a post, you can tap on the ‘play’ icon at the top of the screen and the post contents will be read to you? Note: For privacy reasons, this feature will not work on pay-walled content, such as private discussion threads or chat threads.
Books That Have Assisted You In Your FSA Recovery
This coming week I’ll be asking all subscribers (free and paid) what books have most assisted you in your recovery so now is a good time to start thinking about what books have been most helpful in regard to your family scapegoating abuse healing journey.
Hello, please disregard my earlier comment about substack issues - issue has been resolved (:
