The holiday season can often be a challenging time for adult survivors of family abuse, as it brings a mix of emotions and memories that can be difficult to navigate.

As discussed in the Holiday Navigation Guide I released this past weekend, for many FSA survivors, the stress of family gatherings and expectations can trigger past traumas, making self-care essential during this period.

It’s therefore vital to remember that you have the right to prioritize your well-being and create a space that feels safe and nurturing, even amidst the hustle and bustle of the holidays.
