The Little Girl and the Forest
A story of immunity through generations - by Caroline Whole (FSA Education Community Member)
Welcome to all of our new subscribers - We’re glad you’re here!
Today I am sharing a story written by one of our community members, Caroline Whole. Caroline participates in our monthly Writers Group Chat where community members can explore issues related to healing from Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) through journaling, memoirs, poetry, or other personal works. While reading The Little Girl and the Forest, I was struck by Caroline’s ability to include a great deal of space within her writing while maintaining rich imagery, which brought to mind the beauty of Asian art. For me, The Little Girl and the Forest speaks of coming home while exploring what ‘home’ even means, including the possibility of coming home to Self.
I hope you enjoy Caroline’s story as we head into the holiday season. You can learn more about Caroline, below - Her story is linked below her author’s bio.

Thank-you Rebecca for sharing Caroline's story, greatly appreciated.
So beautifully written! A most talented author, observer, who felt the disconnect with her family. This serves as a perfect exemplar for those of us who attempt to write in this luscious style.
