This is heartening news! Too many survivors of FSA are labeled as personality disordered or in some other way irreparably and constitutionally “broken.” Thanks, Rebecca, for being a force for our recognition and our healing!

Will this be available as a data set? I’m considering studying data science and would love to lean on this…perhaps create a dashboard at some point after I am learned and polished.

Congrats, Rebecca! What saddens me is the age range here. We've all suffered so deeply into our 50s, 60s, 70s and my soon-to-be 80s until we discovered you. May this be your opening to assisting the amelioration of suffering out there.

Thank you, Lynne. It is sad, indeed, yet the community we are forming here serves as a profound balm on the wounds of FSA - At least, on mine!

This is wonderful news Rebecca. Your work is profoundly important to me and so many others. You’re the only person who has ever pulled the covers off of FSA and called it what it is. The effects of my own abuse have caused enormous psychological ripples through my life and I’ve often been dismissed by family and/or psychology professionals as too sensitive and often misdiagnosed by said professionals. I’ve never, until I read your book, been able to accurately describe who I was and the effects of my FSA to myself and to others. Your work has given me the actual language to really start healing. Your work must continue on so we can all get the most informed help we can. Thank you, thank you, thank you and congratulations!

I appreciate all that you say here, Jaye. Comments such as yours that affirm the need for this form of abuse to be named and recognized on a societal level make all the hard work these past many years worth it!

This is great news! Congratulations Rebecca! This will be most helpful and validating for me and for many others who have endured this form of abuse. Thank you again for all your insight, knowledge and work to bring this out in the open.

You're very welcome, Rosalee. And I was just informed of a 2nd FSA medical-related study that will be taking place using my original research questionnaires (also quantitative), I'll share more about this soon - there is light at the end of the tunnel at long last!

Congratulations, Rebecca!!! WOW!! So much time, effort, life force, heart and soul must have gone into the last 15 years of research. Stupendous it is getting published in the most validating manner possible!!! 🥳

Thank you - yes, I can hardly believe it has finally happened. And I was just asked if I would co-author a 2nd quantitative study with this same MD / Research Fellow in Zambia, so stay tuned for study #2, should be an interesting one!

So grateful for your education and exposure Rebecca🙏🏾...l am 64 and only saw this being exposed distinctly 2 years ago. I had so many years navigating this craziness on my own. My intuition was spot on though validation zilch. To see it explained so clearly is a true Godsend for our future generations.
